Music for Growing Minds
Ready to play?
Peanut Butter and Jam brings families together for musical fun and an exciting introduction to classical music. Designed for children ages two to six, these interactive programs will touch, teach, and enrich your child’s life. And don’t worry — we don’t expect anyone to sit still!
This was the best kids’ event we’ve found in Cincinnati! Very open, accessible, and engaging.

What’s Peanut Butter & Jam?
Music improves children’s lives. Our driving goal is to help children experience music in fun, accessible and interactive ways. Through our Main Family Concert Series, Free Community Concerts, Outdoor Musical Adventures, Virtual Musical Mornings, and In-School Programming, we are engaging young children through music across Greater Cincinnati.
A Musical Zoo!
Listen! Is that a bird or a flute? Is that a swan or a cello? Is that a fish or a piano? Come find out on an adventure during our musical zoo! Feel free to come dressed as your favorite animal and be prepared for lots of make-believe fun!
Coming Up Next!
One of our most popular programs is back! Your child will be inspired by this concert featuring all percussion, all the time.
Music With Madcap: Little Red Riding Hood
This classic tale gets the PB&J treatment with our fuzzy friends from Madcap Puppets and the music of Brahms. Don’t get lost in the woods!
Relax this summer with some outdoor programming fully inspired by jazz standards. Because what’s more amazing than a preschooler learning to scat sing?
Our priority is to keep vulnerable children safe! To do that, we are implementing the following measures until further notice:
- As much as possible, our programming will be outdoors.
- Our musicians and staff are fully vaccinated.
- If weather or extenuating circumstances bring a concert indoors, these steps will be taken:
- Families will be socially distanced from each other.
- Adults will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test within 72 hours.
- Everyone over the age of three will be required to wear a mask.
